Debbie Smith

Debbie Smith is a 28-year resident of Assembly District 30. Debbie is married to Greg Smith and has three children; Olivia Bouch, Ian Smith, Erin Smith, son-in-law David Bouch and two beautiful granddaughters, Emma and Aanika.

Debbie and Greg raised their children in Sparks and have always been active in the community as coaches and school volunteers. Debbie served as President of the Nevada Parent Teacher Association and has worked with many local school and charitable organizations.  

Debbie was first elected to the Nevada Legislature in 2000.  She currently serves on the Ways & Means (budget) Committee where she chairs the K-12 and Capital Improvements Subcommittees  She is also Chairman of the Health & Human Services Committee and serves on the Elections, Procedures and Constitutional Amendments Committee, which will oversee redistricting in the 2011 Legislative Session.
